Slovenčina A2

Slovak A2 exam — sample tests and exercises

Each pack is a set of tasks in the format of the Slovak language exam for foreigners at level A2 — all four parts: reading comprehension and grammar, listening comprehension, writing and speaking. There is no single national paper: the law sets the level and the pass mark, while every authorised language school writes its own test. Our tasks therefore follow the publicly available standardized A2 model test of Studia Academica Slovaca (Comenius University in Bratislava), extended to cover the writing genres named in the Ministry of Education’s guidance of 27 October 2025. Preparation is free, in your browser, with AI grading.

The tasks in these packs are written by us, following the publicly available model test and the task typology. They are not official exam materials, we reproduce no institution’s exam tasks, and this site does not replace a teacher or a language course. There is no single national paper — the law sets the level and the pass mark, while every authorised language school writes its own test, so your exam may differ in the number and order of tasks.

What is in each set

Each set is a complete run of exercises in the exam format: reading with grammar, listening with recordings, writing and speaking. You work through them online in the browser — no PDFs to print, no account to create.

Closed tasks are marked instantly with a score. Writing and speaking are assessed by an AI system: you get points, a list of mistakes and a model answer, so you know not only how much but what for.

How to use them

The simplest start is one complete set, to find out which part gives you the most trouble. Then come back to it in the training exercises: picture description, monologue and writing each have their own AI-graded practice.

Do not skip the oral part. It is compulsory, only candidates who pass the written part go on to it, and it is the part people prepare for least.

Common questions

Are the tests free?

Yes. Every set, every recording and the AI grading are free and need no registration — the Service has no accounts. On the AI tasks a short bot check runs in the background; you click nothing and nothing is read from your device.

Do the tasks show the answers?

Yes. Closed tasks are marked automatically and reveal the correct answer; written and spoken answers get AI feedback together with a model answer. The AI assessment is a practice aid, not an official exam result.

Are these real exam papers?

No — they are original tasks in the format and at the level of the exam. There is no single national exam paper, so we follow the published model test of Studia Academica Slovaca at Comenius University in Bratislava, and we say so openly.
